Sie sind hier: ERA-EDTA  /  YNP

It is a pleasure to inform you and all members of the German Society of Nephrology on the activities of the Young Nephrologists' Platform (YNP) of the European Renal Association – European Dialysis and Transplant Association (ERA-EDTA). YNP has been established to involve young nephrologists in all activities of the ERA-EDTA and to help members in their career. We would like to invite you and all nephrologists (physicians and researchers interested in nephrology to participate actively in this platform.

The main aim of YNP is to provide communication, education and collaboration among young nephrologists as well as build up and keep possibilities open for potential individuals with interest in clinical nephrology and/or other levels of scientific research. Members of YNP can be involved in the ERA-EDTA Working Groups, Scientific Advisory Board, CME Courses, Congress Scientific Committees and other ERA-EDTA initiatives.
Furthermore, YNP has several initiatives that benefit young colleagues. These initiatives include the yearly CME Courses, where YNP members have been offered reduced fees to participate; one-year free memberships to the best 30 abstracts submitted by YNP members to ERA-EDTA Congresses and articles published by YNP members as first or last author in NDT or CKJ; and the bi-monthly hot topics published in collaboration with NDT-Educational.
YNP has also successfully developed the Advisory Program, offering a unique chance to young nephrologists to exchange experiences and to confer with senior scientists/professionals within the Society. Experienced scientists/professionals who are ERA-EDTA members can become Advisors and any YNP member can apply to be an Advisee.

We welcome you to JOIN YNP now by filling in the application form Opens external link in new window Signing up is free for all eligible ERA-EDTA members.
